About Us
The Perennial Gardener has been taking care of your gardens since 2009. We are a proudly Canadian family run company that excels in the maintenance and improvement of outdoor spaces. We are experts in everything garden and we do the things that the lawn companies don't!
The Perennial Gardener was started by Margaret after her retirement from the teaching profession. She took her considerable knowledge and practical experience in gardening and started helping others who either had no time, were overwhelmed and unsure of what to do or were no longer able to maintain their garden to the standard they wanted.

Matt is the General Manager and Margaret’s oldest son. He has considerable experience in the Landscape Trade. Matt has earned a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and has been working in the trade for more than 20 years. His expertise ranges from proper care of plants, irrigation, lighting, design, construction and proper yard maintenance.

The team is made up of several experienced workers who have demonstrated a fondness for garden maintenance. They are trained to recognize and know the difference between different types of plants and weeds. They can suggest what should go where and alternatives to the plants that are not fitting your needs.
